About

About seven years in software, from both sides of the work. As a senior engineer I build event-driven backends in Java and Spring Boot, with Jenkins pipelines to ship them. As a project manager I lead Agile teams from scoping to release.

I’ve worked in Tokyo and in New York, in Japanese and in English, with teams that span both. Much of the job is translation: between engineers and stakeholders, between a plan and its risks, and between what a client asks for and what can ship this sprint.
